Wow, lots going on this week! First and foremost So Long and Thanks For All The Beers was an amazing race. Congrats to all that helped run it and good job to Chris 50 for winning the thing!
It is hard to beleive it has been a year since Charlie passed and there has been a lot of talk for another ride for him. As most of you are aware August is a crazy month for the bike crowd. Benway and I have talked and think that maybe the end of the month would be a good option? If you have any ideas. I was thinking Thursday August 28th. That would allow the people that are going to the NACCs to still attend before they left for Chicago. We will have flyers printed and sent out asap.
Speaking of flyers we are calling out to the art kids. DSR wants to do a run of 12 posters with the theme of the months of the year. We will cover print costs if anyone wants to submit a design. Keep it bike related and try to mention DSR on it somewhere, I’ll let your creative minds do the rest.
Last and not least: Group ride tonight starts at same place and time (Dundas Square @ 9). Bring lights and a helmet if you have them. Ride safe and see you tonight. -W
